Specialist capabilities

When special requirements call for a process under full control.

Not every manufacturing task can be solved with standard processes.

Some components require strictly controlled material handling. Others call for qualified welding processes, special materials or complete documentation. And in many applications it is not only the finished component that has to convince – the route to it must be traceable and under control.

stainlesstec has built up specific manufacturing and quality capabilities for tasks like these. They complement our general metal processing wherever material, process and evidence all matter equally.

Protecting the material.

Segregated stainless production

Stainless steel and aluminium can only show their full surface quality and corrosion resistance if they are processed accordingly.

In our segregated production area, these materials are handled under controlled conditions and never come into contact with other types of steel. This reduces the risk of iron contamination, rust marks and unwanted surface damage while the part is still being made. That matters above all in applications such as:

Pharmaceuticals · Food processing · High technology · Process plant · High-quality machine components

Surface quality does not begin with the final grinding operation. It is built along the entire route:

Goods inwards → Machining → Welding → Finishing → Finished assembly

Mastering special processes.

Defence technology to DIN 2303

Defence components can place far-reaching demands on material, welding technology, traceability and quality assurance. stainlesstec holds the manufacturer qualification to DIN 2303 Q2 for the particular requirements of welding defence products.

Non-magnetisable components show especially clearly why this qualification goes beyond a conventional welding job. Choosing a suitable material is not enough on its own. Material handling, forming, welding process, filler metals, post-weld treatment and testing:

Material handling · Forming · Welding process · Filler metals · Post-weld treatment · Testing

all have to be matched to one another so that the required properties survive right through to the finished component.

It is not only the weld that has to be right. The entire process has to be under control.

Proving quality.

Quality & certifications

Demanding manufacturing takes more than experience: it takes governed, traceable processes. Our certifications document that capability for a range of requirements:

ISO 9001

For structured quality management and repeatable processes.

DIN EN ISO 3834-3

For quality-assured welding production.

AD 2000 HP 0

For the manufacture of pressure-bearing components and vessels.

DIN 2303

For the particular requirements of defence technology.

We do not regard certificates as an end in themselves. What counts is what they make possible in a project:

Clear responsibilities · Qualified procedures · Defined testing · Traceability · Documented quality

Three capabilities. One shared principle.

Segregated production, DIN 2303 and our quality certifications have different focuses. Together they pursue the same aim:

Controlling risk while the part is being made.

Not discovering at the end that a surface has been damaged. Not asking after welding whether material and process actually match. Not finding out at final inspection that key records are missing. Instead, translating requirements as early as possible into:

Material selection · Production planning · Manufacturing · Testing · Documentation

That is what allows components to fit not only geometrically, but also technically, in quality terms and on paper – exactly as the project requires.

Where these capabilities come together

This shows most clearly in demanding projects from fields such as:

Pharmaceutical & process technology

Where surfaces, cleanability and documentation belong together.

Defence & marine

Where material properties, qualified welding processes and traceability are decisive.

High technology & special applications

Where unusual materials, geometries or test requirements come together.

Machinery & plant engineering

Where several production steps have to yield a repeatable, documented assembly.

That said, not every project needs every one of these capabilities. What matters is the demands of the component in question.

Your specification defines the process.

Do you have a component with particular requirements for material, surface, welding, testing or documentation? Send us the drawing and the specification. We will assess which manufacturing and quality requirements apply to your project and how we can meet them within our processes.

Let’s talk about your project.

Send us your drawing or CAD data by email – together with material, batch size and your requirements. We will come back to you with a sound assessment.
