stainlesstec does not turn out anonymous parts by the million. We make bespoke items, small batches and complex assemblies in stainless steel and aluminium – for machine building, food processing, pharmaceuticals, high technology and other demanding applications.
For that we need people who understand the engineering, take responsibility and enjoy seeing at the end of the day what they have made.
Production · welding · programming · production planning · apprenticeships
No two days quite the same
Many orders start with a drawing or a CAD model – and a task for which no ready-made routine exists yet. That means:
different parts
changing geometries
demanding materials
individual customer requirements
small quantities
new technical challenges again and again
Anyone who likes to think along and would rather not make the same part a hundred times a day will find plenty of variety here.
Modern equipment. People who have mastered it.
Our machinery opens up a great deal: laser cutting, laser punching, CNC bending, 3D laser welding, TIG and MIG welding, levelling, surface finishing and assembly.
But the best machine is only as good as the person using it. We therefore rely on well-trained staff, technical understanding and cooperation between departments. Data give the precision. Experience gives the answer.
Work with responsibility
On small batches and bespoke work, everyone’s contribution to the result is visible:
A programmer helps decide the manufacturing strategy.
An operator sees whether a part is behaving as expected.
A welder affects the dimensions and the surface of the whole assembly.
Someone in assembly sees whether every earlier operation fits together.
Here you are not responsible for one movement of the hand but part of the whole process.
Where we work
Production & machine operation
Laser, punch, bending and other CNC processes for demanding sheet metal parts and small batches. Setting machines, running programs, checking parts and improving routines.
Demanding assemblies in stainless steel and aluminium. This is about more than laying a seam: material, heat input, sequence and distortion all belong together.
Grinding and finishing high-grade stainless steel and aluminium parts. Eye, experience and a craftsman’s feel matter here as much as the technical requirements.
Assembly
Individual parts become complete assemblies and system components – mechanical, pneumatic and, depending on the project, further components all have to work together properly.
We are not only looking for people who can operate machines. The most valuable colleagues are the ones who ask questions like:
Could this be made better?
Where will distortion show up later?
Which order makes more sense?
How can the surface be protected?
What can we improve on the next part?
Because in bespoke work, that is exactly where quality comes from.
Experience counts – and so do new ideas
Many technical skills only come with time: a feel for materials, practice at welding, an eye for distortion or an understanding of complex production sequences cannot be learned from a manual alone. Exchange between experienced specialists and younger colleagues therefore matters to us – knowledge should be passed on, not lost.
That does not mean everything has to stay as it always was. New machines, digital processes and changing methods constantly open up new possibilities. We therefore need people who are ready to:
learn new things
question existing routines
share what they know
try out what the technology can do
take responsibility
Apprenticeships: learning how manufacturing really works
An apprenticeship here does not mean years of the same odd jobs. Our aim is that young people understand how a design becomes a finished part:
Good people do not always fit a job advert. If you have experience in metalwork, welding, CNC manufacturing, production planning or a related technical field, we are glad to hear from you anyway.
Just starting out, or years of experience? What counts is what you want to make of it.
stainlesstec lives on people who have mastered their trade – and on those who want to learn it.
If you enjoy working with modern equipment, making demanding parts and bringing your experience to bear, we should talk.
Let’s talk about your project.
Send us your drawing or CAD data by email – together with material, batch size and your requirements. We will come back to you with a sound assessment.
