What matters in food processing technology
Hygiene is something you design in.
For food machinery, the Machinery Directive requires smooth, cleanable contact surfaces without problematic crevices, as few projections and recesses as possible, and the complete drainage of liquids. EU Regulation 1935/2004 requires materials that, in food contact, release no substances in quantities that would affect health, composition or taste. We translate these requirements into sheet, weld and surface – in the design and on the shop floor:
- Crevice-free construction – gap-free transitions and continuous welds wherever product is in contact
- Hygienic welds – tight, free of porosity and cleanly dressed
- Rounded transitions – radii instead of sharp corners, with as few projections and recesses as possible
- Cleanable surfaces – defined surface finishes, easy to clean and disinfect
- Complete drainability – falls and drains so that liquids run off entirely
- Reliable material segregation – segregated production: stainless steel and aluminium with no contact with other types of steel
- Repeatable surfaces – the same finish across batches and revision levels

Quality you can evidence.
- Segregated production – stainless steel and aluminium only, no rust marks
- Materials for food contact – selected in line with EU Regulation 1935/2004 and backed by certificates
- Hygienic design to the requirements of the Machinery Directive
- ISO 9001 – certified quality management
- DIN EN ISO 3834 – verified welding quality
