Training completed and straight into permanent jobs: our apprentices Leon Daniel, Hidir Ökmen and Mike Beschinski have completed their apprenticeships as metalworkers specialising in construction technology. At the formal ceremony on 5 February 2026 at the Kupferschmiede in Hildesheim they were presented with their well-earned journeyman’s certificates.
Congratulations to all three! We are delighted that you are staying with our team and will be taking on exciting projects with us in the years to come. Keep it up – and here’s to many successful years at stainlesstec!
Congratulations to our colleague Alexandru Rotariu on completing his training as a welding specialist (Schweißfachmann, SFM – internationally the International Welding Specialist, IWS)!
Over an intensive two-month course, Alexandru acquired wide-ranging knowledge of welding technology, materials science, design, safety and quality. The course is recognised internationally and sets demanding standards – which makes us all the prouder that he rose to the challenge with such success.
What a welding specialist does
A welding specialist plays a central part in the business:
planning and supervising welding work
guiding and supporting the welders in their day-to-day work
ensuring quality and compliance with standards and codes
examining and checking welded joints
introducing new processes and technologies
responsibility for occupational safety in welding
A gain for Alexandru – and for our team
With his new qualification, Alexandru helps secure the highest quality, safety and efficiency in our projects. At the same time, his example shows how much the individual development of our people matters to us.
Continuing training as part of our culture
We are convinced that anyone who wants to grow needs the chance to learn. That is why we back our people deliberately – through specialist qualifications, training courses and the opportunity to take on responsibility. Alexandru’s success underlines how we build up expertise together and secure our future.
We are delighted that Alexandru now strengthens our team as a welding specialist, and we thank him for his commitment!
With the manufacturer qualification to DIN 2303 Q2 we have demonstrated that we meet the „particular and specific requirements“ and comply with the „comprehensive quality requirements“ of DIN EN ISO 3834-2. From now on we are open not only to enquiries involving the usual standardised stainless steels (group 8.1) but also to individual parts and assemblies for defence products made from non-magnetisable, austenitic steels (group 8.2).
With our recognised expertise in welding and this additional qualification, we may weld anything in the defence field except armour and things that go up in the air. We are ready to play our part in restoring the defence capability of Germany and Europe!
